Chelsea are reportedly open to exchanging some of their fringe players for Crystal Palace star Michael Olise. It is claimed that the Blues have made contact with their Premier League rivals over signing the winger this summer. Olise is understood to have a complex release clause written into his Palace contract. The Eagles will be less willing to accept players in exchange, preferring instead to receive around ÂŁ60million for their prized asset.

If Chelsea do manage to negotiate players into the deal, here are five who Palace may benefit from signing:
Noni Madueke: The talented left-footed attacking player, formerly of Palace’s academy and now at PSV, could seamlessly replace Olise with his creative abilities.
Omari Hutchinson: Another promising talent from Chelsea’s ranks, Hutchinson’s impressive loan spell at Ipswich Town highlights his potential to bolster Palace’s midfield options.
Ian Maatsen: A versatile left-back who excels as a wing-back, Maatsen could provide crucial competition for Tyrick Mitchell in Palace’s defensive setup.
David Datro Fofana: With an eye on forward depth, Fofana’s loan from Burnley could offer Palace a dynamic option up front, complementing Jean-Philippe Mateta’s role.
Trevoh Chalobah: A versatile defender who grew up in South London, Chalobah’s experience and adaptability could strengthen Palace’s defensive options, especially if Marc Guehi departs.
