Transfer Window Closed for Los Blancos
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the club will not make any more signings this summer. This announcement comes after the high-profile arrivals of Kylian Mbappé and Endrick. Despite missing out on French centre-back Leny Yoro, who opted to join Manchester United, Ancelotti is confident in his current squad.
Defensive Stability Amid Departures
Amidst speculation about further defensive reinforcements following the departures of Nacho and Rafa Marín, Ancelotti stated, “The squad is closed. [Jesús] Vallejo is back, [David] Alaba is recovering. We have young centre-backs like Joan, Jacobo, and Raul [Asencio] who are training and have a lot of quality. I believe we are well covered in this position.”
Veteran defender Nacho has signed with Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah after a two-decade tenure at Madrid, while Marín joined Napoli on a permanent transfer. Additionally, Spain striker Joselu moved to Qatari side Al Gharafa.
No More Departures Expected
Ancelotti does not foresee any more players leaving the squad. “No one will be leaving because everyone wants to stay,” he said.
Adapting Without Toni Kroos
Ancelotti acknowledged the challenge of adapting without Toni Kroos, who retired from football after Euro 2024 following a successful nine-year career with Real Madrid. “We are missing Kroos,” Ancelotti admitted. “But we have possibilities to replace him, although in a different way because there is no player like him, with his quality. But we have many other resources.”

The tour includes a Clásico match against FC Barcelona on August 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and concludes with a game against Chelsea on August 6 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
