Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has announced that his surgery for a foot injury was successful, after a disappointing start to his first season with the club.

Yoro, a highly-rated young defender, signed a five-year contract with Manchester United earlier this summer. The Red Devils reportedly secured his signature for an upfront fee of £52 million, potentially rising to £58 million with various add-ons.
