Paul Pogba, the Juventus midfielder, may be offered a chance to join Lionel Messi at Inter Miami, with Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs reportedly interested in signing the World Cup winner.
Pogba, 31, is currently serving a four-year suspension from football-related activities due to alleged doping protocol breaches. However, his ban is expected to be reduced to 18 months following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
The former Manchester United star’s contract with Juventus runs until summer 2026, but prominent figures at the club have hinted that Pogba is no longer part of their plans. If his contract is terminated, Pogba would become a free agent.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba could follow in the footsteps of Messi, Olivier Giroud, and Hugo Lloris by moving to the United States. MLS teams are closely monitoring the situation.
Pogba hopes to resume his professional career in March 2025. A move to Inter Miami could provide the Frenchman with a fresh start.
