Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi has declared himself “unstoppable” and “hungry” for more trophies after receiving Marca’s prestigious America Award, dubbed the ‘Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT) award.
The 37-year-old Argentine legend accepted the accolade on Thursday, expressing his physical and mental readiness to continue lifting silverware.
After receiving the award, Messi said at the ceremony, per Marca: “I am still hungry for titles even though I am a bit older and my family keeps growing. I feel their support so I am unstoppable. I love playing football and everything it gives me. I have had really bad times with Argentina before achieving what we have done by today but, I think it helped us a lot to become what we are today.”
As arguably the greatest player of all time, Messi’s legacy extends beyond his impressive trophy haul and individual awards. He continues to inspire millions, showing no signs of retirement.
