Madrid Finally Identify Mbappe’s Weaknesses

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has challenged Kylian Mbappe to take greater responsibility on the pitch following the French star’s underwhelming start to life in Spain.

Mbappe, 25, joined Los Blancos on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, but has failed to live up to expectations, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in 14 matches.

According to reports, Ancelotti has identified Mbappe’s weakness as his inability to react effectively after losing possession. The Italian coach wants the France captain to be more proactive in pressuring opponents and winning the ball back.

Mbappe’s disappointing display in the 4-0 El Clasico defeat to Barcelona has intensified scrutiny. Spanish journalist Romain Molina claimed that Real Madrid already “regret” signing Mbappe, suggesting the move was driven by president Florentino Perez’s personal desire.

As Real Madrid seek to rebound from their El Clasico loss, Ancelotti will expect more from Mbappe in their Champions League clash against AC Milan on Wednesday.

With pressure mounting, Mbappe must respond to Ancelotti’s call to take greater responsibility and justify his status as one of the world’s top players.
