Chelsea produced a devastating display of attacking prowess, thrashing Armenian side Noah 8-0 in the Conference League on Thursday. The Blues’ blistering performance left their opponents reeling, with the Londoners showcasing their speed, strength, and ruthless efficiency.
Noah’s promising start was swiftly extinguished as Chelsea seized control, with Tosin Adarabioyo heading in his first goal for the club in the 12th minute. Enzo Fernandez’s pinpoint corner found Adarabioyo, who shook off his marker to open the floodgates.
The visitors’ woes intensified as Marc Guiu capitalised on a catastrophic backpass to double Chelsea’s lead. Axel Disasi then mirrored Adarabioyo’s header, meeting a corner with precision to make it 3-0.
Noah’s self-destruction continued as Goncalo Silva’s careless possession gifted Fernandez the opportunity to feed Joao Felix for a simple finish, putting Chelsea 4-0 up. Mykhailo Mudryk’s stunning long-range effort then found the top corner, leaving Noah trailing 5-0.
Chelsea showed no mercy, with Felix and Dasi combining to further extend their advantage. The second half saw a slight reprieve for Noah as Enzo Maresca’s side eased off the gas, but Christopher Nkunku’s determination earned him a goal after his initial effort was saved.
The referee’s video assistant review then awarded Chelsea a contentious penalty, which Nkunku emphatically converted to complete the rout.
This resounding victory marks Chelsea’s third win in the competition, underscoring their dominance and potential for success in the Conference League.
