Arsenal have reignited their pursuit of Barcelona’s in-form winger Raphinha, reportedly willing to offer a staggering £75m to secure his signature.
Raphinha has transformed his Barcelona career, emerging as captain and contributing 22 combined goals and assists in 17 appearances this season. His resurgence has attracted interest from top European clubs, including Arsenal, according to Fichajes.
The Gunners, eager to end their Premier League title drought, aim to bolster their attack. Arsenal had previously shown interest in Raphinha before his transfer from Leeds United to Barcelona.
However, Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is unlikely to sanction Raphinha’s sale, given his impressive form. The Catalan giants have previously contemplated offloading him amid financial struggles, but his rise has changed their stance.
Raphinha will return to action for Barcelona after the international break, facing Celta Vigo in La Liga on Saturday. Arsenal’s ambitious bid may test Barcelona’s resolve, setting the stage for a potential transfer battle.
