AS Roma are poised to join the chase for Real Madrid’s Brazilian prodigy Endrick, who has struggled to break into the first team since his summer arrival.
According to Diario Sport, the Serie A outfit, now managed by Claudio Ranieri, are eager to bolster their attack with young talent and believe Endrick fits the bill perfectly. Roma’s interest follows reports of Premier League strugglers Southampton’s interest in the 18-year-old.
Endrick’s lack of game time at the Santiago Bernabeu, with just 56 minutes of La Liga action over eight substitute appearances, has sparked speculation about a potential January loan exit. The arrival of Kylian Mbappe in the summer has further intensified competition for places.
Roma face competition from La Liga side Real Valladolid, now owned by former Real Madrid striker Ronaldo, for Endrick’s signature. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has utilised Endrick sparingly, and the youngster is expected to remain on the bench for Sunday’s La Liga clash against Leganes.
As Endrick’s frustrations grow, a temporary move away from the Bernabeu beckons. With Roma and others circling, the Brazilian wonderkid may not lack suitors if he seeks regular playing time elsewhere.
