Pogba Urged to Join Greenwood at Marseille

Former France star Adil Rami has publicly endorsed Paul Pogba’s potential move to Marseille, following the midfielder’s recent departure from Juventus.

Pogba, 31, is currently without a club after his Juventus contract was terminated. However, he is set to return to training in January 2025 and rejoin the game by March, following a reduced doping ban.

Rami, a 2018 World Cup winner and former teammate of Pogba, believes Marseille offers the ideal platform for the French midfielder to rebuild his career and silence critics.

“Pogba! The great player! Marseille is a very, very, very good choice. I wish that for you and I wish that for them,” Rami said during a live Twitch session.

Rami’s endorsement comes as Pogba faces a pivotal moment in his footballing journey. After a stellar first stint at Juventus, his form has waned due to injuries and inconsistent performances.

Marseille’s interest in Pogba presents a calculated risk with potentially high rewards. The French club, currently competing in Ligue 1, may provide Pogba with the opportunity to revive his career alongside Mason Greenwood after both played for Manchester United.

Pogba’s next move will be closely watched, with some clubs viewing him as a gamble worth taking and others hesitant due to his recent struggles.
