Arsenal Eye Kolo Muani as Saka Replacement

Arsenal may be offered Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani as a potential replacement for the injured Bukayo Saka, according to reports. The Gunners are facing a crisis on the wings after Saka tore his hamstring in the 5-1 win over Crystal Palace last Saturday, while Raheem Sterling picked up a knee injury.

With Saka ruled out for several weeks, Arsenal may be forced to dip into the January transfer market to bolster their squad. Per The Standard, Kolo Muani, who has fallen out of favour at PSG under manager Luis Enrique, could be a viable option.

The 26-year-old French forward has made just 14 appearances across all competitions this season, clocking only 453 minutes on the pitch. Kolo Muani would reportedly be open to leaving PSG on a short-term loan in January to get more game time.

Saka’s injury is a significant blow to Arsenal, who are trailing league leaders Liverpool by six points. The England international has been in impressive form this season, scoring nine goals and providing 13 assists in 24 games across all competitions.

Arsenal will next face Ipswich Town on Friday, and manager Mikel Arteta will be hoping to find a solution to his team’s wing woes ahead of a packed schedule of fixtures in the coming weeks.
