Paul Pogba has been advised to consider a move to Fulham as the former Manchester United star prepares to return to football. The 31-year-old midfielder, who has been banned for doping, has had his suspension reduced, enabling him to resume training in January 2025 and compete officially by March.
According to former Premier League player Ryan Babel, a move to a mid-table Premier League team like Fulham could help Pogba rediscover his form without the immense pressure that comes with playing for a top-tier club.
“I think Paul Pogba could be a good addition for a Premier League club,” Babel said in an interview with Instant Casino. “The only question is which team. I think he could deliver for teams like Fulham, the teams where the pressure is not as high as Man United.”
Babel’s comments come as Pogba searches for a new club following the termination of his contract with Juventus. The French World Cup winner has been linked with several clubs, including Marseille and Arsenal, but a move to Fulham could provide him with the opportunity to rebuild his career in a less intense environment.
For Pogba, the next move is critical as it will shape the latter stages of his football career. With his talent still evident but questions lingering over his physical condition and mental resilience, Pogba faces a pivotal moment in his journey.
