Ramos Dreams of Real Madrid Return Amid Injury Crisis

Ramos Dreams of Real Madrid Return

Veteran defender Sergio Ramos is reportedly still harbouring hopes of a sensational return to Real Madrid, despite the club’s initial reluctance to re-sign him. According to sources, Ramos is eager to capitalize on the club’s defensive injury crisis, which has seen David Alaba, Eder Militao, and Dani Carvajal all sidelined with long-term injuries.

However, the prospect of Ramos returning to the Santiago Bernabeu is deemed “utopia” by insiders, with the 38-year-old’s chances of rejoining the club considered extremely slim. Ramos has been without a club since leaving Sevilla at the end of last season, despite receiving offers from various teams, including those in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Major League Soccer.

The report suggests that Ramos has been unimpressed by the offers he has received so far, citing a “lack of conviction” from potential suitors. However, with his requirements likely to be lower in January, Ramos may be more open to considering alternative options. The defender is keen to avoid an extended period of inactivity and is likely to seek a new club in the new year.

Ramos’ illustrious career has seen him win an astonishing 22 trophies with Real Madrid, including four Champions League titles. During his 16-year tenure at the club, he scored 101 goals in 671 appearances, cementing his status as one of the greatest defenders in the club’s history.
