Man United and Arsenal Interested in Signing Sane

Man United and Arsenal Show Interest in Sane

Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Leroy Sane’s contract situation at Bayern Munich, with the German winger’s future uncertain.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern want to retain Sane, 28, but are insisting on a pay cut, sparking concerns that the former Manchester City star may leave on a free transfer next summer.

Sane’s current contract, worth up to £17m per year, expires in 2025. Bayern sporting director Max Eberl aims to reduce the squad’s wages, affecting key players like Joshua Kimmich and Manuel Neuer.

Although Sane wants to stay at Bayern, the stalemate in negotiations has alerted Arsenal and Manchester United, who are waiting in the wings.

Sky Germany reports that Sane will not leave in the January transfer window, but the longer negotiations drag on, the more likely he is to depart next summer.

Bayern’s proposed pay cut would reduce Sane’s salary by up to £3.4m, although bonuses could help him maintain his current earnings.

Sane is set to feature for Germany in the Nations League against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary during the international break, before returning to Bayern duty against Augsburg on November 22.

With Arsenal and Manchester United circling, Bayern must resolve the contract impasse to prevent losing one of their key players.
