Juventus Eye Arsenal's Kiwior to Bolster Defence

Juventus Eyes Signing Arsenal’s Kiwior

Italian side, Juventus are plotting a January move for Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, according to Calciomercato.

The Bianconeri, managed by Thiago Motta, aim to strengthen their defence following Gleison Bremer’s ACL injury. Kiwior, 24, has struggled for playing time under Mikel Arteta since joining Arsenal from Spezia in January 2023.

Motta previously worked with Kiwior at Spezia, and the reunion could provide an escape route for the out-of-favour Polish centre-back.

Arsenal are reportedly open to selling Kiwior, who has found himself on the periphery at the Emirates Stadium.

Juventus are also monitoring Milan Skriniar’s situation at PSG, but Kiwior offers a viable option to provide defensive cover.

The potential transfer would address Juventus’s defensive concerns, while allowing Arsenal to offload an underutilized player.

Arsenal face Nottingham Forest on November 23, seeking to end their four-game winless run in the Premier League.

Juventus, meanwhile, visit AC Milan on the same day, looking to maintain their unbeaten Serie A record and close the gap on league leaders Napoli.
