Salah Reflects on Liverpool Future Amid Contract Uncertainty

Salah Reflects on Liverpool Future

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has sparked speculation about his future at the club, admitting that Roberto Firmino’s departure serves as a reminder that “everybody will leave one day”.

With just six months remaining on his current deal, Salah’s contract situation remains unclear. Speaking on Liverpool’s YouTube channel, the 32-year-old Egyptian winger expressed his appreciation for the daily interactions with his teammates.

“The thing I appreciate the most is the time when I go every morning and I see the guys and share unbelievable moments,” Salah said. “When Bobby left, for example, you realise everybody will leave one day, so I don’t take that for granted.”

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Salah insisted his focus remains on winning silverware under new manager Arne Slot. “Win it all,” he emphasized. “In my opinion, I work so hard every day, I hate the idea that we are underdogs.”

Liverpool currently tops the league under Slot’s guidance, making it difficult to envision Salah departing Anfield unless financial considerations come into play. If Salah enters 2025 without signing an extension, he will be free to negotiate with other clubs.

As the speculation continues, Salah’s commitment to Liverpool remains uncertain, leaving fans wondering about his long-term plans.
