According to Marca, the club remains calm about Ancelotti’s position, believing he can rectify the situation. However, two names have emerged as emergency successors: Real Madrid Castilla coach Raul Gonzalez and former boss Santiago Solari.
Gonzalez, a legendary Real Madrid player, has impressed with the club’s reserve team, while Solari previously managed the senior side in 2018. Their presence on the shortlist indicates the club’s willingness to consider internal options.
Ancelotti’s men face Osasuna at Santiago Bernabeu on November 9, a crucial match that may determine the manager’s fate. A positive result could alleviate pressure, but another disappointing performance might hasten the need for change.
