Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly “upset” over concerns about his future at the club, amidst Los Blancos’ recent struggles. Despite leading the team to a La Liga and Champions League double in the 2023-24 season, Ancelotti has faced doubts about his ability to replicate the same success this term.
The addition of Kylian Mbappe was expected to propel Real Madrid to even greater heights, but the team has instead struggled for form and balance. According to Antonio Romero on the SER program ‘Carrusel Deportivo’, questions have been raised about Ancelotti’s immediate future at the club, with doubts also brewing from inside Los Blancos’ top brass.
However, the club management is determined to stick with the 65-year-old Italian coach, who has proven his acumen time and time again. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is said to believe that Ancelotti is still the right man for the job, despite the issues with the team’s playing style.
Despite their recent struggles, Real Madrid remain just one point off rivals Barcelona in La Liga, following the Catalan side’s three-game winless streak in the league. Ancelotti’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu appears secure for now, but the pressure will undoubtedly intensify if results do not improve.
